I believe great design should feel collected, intentional, and deeply personal - never forced.
As the founder and principal designer of April Interiors, I bring over two decades of experience creating refined, livable homes throughout Central Texas. My approach blends elevated finishes with thoughtful functionality, ensuring every space not only photographs beautifully but truly supports the way my clients live.
I’m known for my attention to detail, high-touch project management, and the ability to balance big-picture vision with the smallest finishing touches. From custom new builds to transformative remodels, I guide clients through selections, vendor coordination, and construction collaboration with clarity and confidence.
Outside of design, I’m inspired by travel, exploring new cities, architecture, and cultures constantly fuels my creativity. Whether it’s the texture of old stone in Europe, the relaxed luxury of a coastal retreat, or the layered warmth of a boutique hotel, I bring those collected influences back into the homes I design.
At the heart of it all, I value relationships with my clients, my trades, and my trusted partners. My goal is simple: create homes that feel timeless, effortless, and entirely yours.

Junior designer
Callia supports the design team with a strong technical foundation and a thoughtful, detail-driven approach to project development. With hands-on experience assisting a seasoned interior designer, she has been involved in multiple phases of the design process, including sourcing, material selections, and installation support.
Her strengths lie in translating design concepts into clear, well-executed deliverables, from technical drawings to presentation materials. With a collaborative mindset and a strong eye for detail, Callia plays a key role in ensuring each project is developed with intention and executed to the highest standard.
Jacob Smith

Jacob enjoys supporting the design team by finding thoughtful, personalized solutions for every client. He believes that no two people are alike, and their homes should reflect their unique personalities and lifestyles. With a strong passion for space planning and furniture sourcing, Jacob loves the challenge of creating spaces that are both beautiful and highly functional.
He believes that the smallest details often make the biggest impact, whether he's preparing client presentations, developing design concepts, or refining the final installation. His attention to detail ensures that every project feels cohesive, intentional, and well-executed.
While Jacob has his own design preferences, he genuinely appreciates the beauty of every style—from modern and traditional to transitional. He especially enjoys blending a variety of furnishings, materials, and collected pieces to create homes that feel layered, inviting, stylish, and uniquely personal.
Crystal Adams

Crystal brings a strong background in office management and customer service to the team. Known for her organization and attention to detail, she helps keep operations running smoothly so the design team can focus on creating beautiful spaces.
Originally relocated to Austin in 2015, Crystal proudly built both her career and family here. She and her husband are raising their three daughters in the community they now call home. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, getting lost in a good book, and relaxing at the lake whenever she can.
Crystal is excited to combine her passion for organization and people with the inspiring world of interior design.
