April believes that everyone deserves a home that is a reflection of their lifestyle, their family and their passions. Texas born and bred, April loves her family fiercely, has a longing for time with friends and feels privileged to get to pursue her dreams. She spends her time designing new and renovating old interiors, juggling clients and meetings, sourcing everything under the sun, and searching for inspiration everywhere she goes. She loves working with people and feels so blessed to get to create something that is solely unique for each client.
Samantha snyder
LEAD junior designer
Samantha has been fascinated with design since her childhood and believes that a well curated space can transform daily life. A proud Austinite, she is thrilled to be pursuing her passion in Interior Design in her home city. With a BA in Art from Texas State University, Samantha’s time studying abroad throughout Europe has greatly shaped her view and appreciation of design. With several years of Interior Design experience Samantha is eager to help clients fulfill their vision and reveal their home’s full potential. In her free time, you can find her at a local coffee shop or walking her dog Charlie at a local park.
MINA ROSS
ASSOCIATE Designer
Mina moved to Austin in 2016 from Thailand where she lived with her family for 20 years. Her love for design was born through her passion for art from a very young age and slowly grew into interior design when her father introduced her to a computer software program where she built her first 3D model of her home in Thailand! That moment was when she realized she wanted to become an interior designer. After graduating with a Bachelor of Interior Architecture from Thailand and relocating to Austin, she started her venture in interior design working for a local construction company and then a nationwide luxury furniture gallery. She gained years of experience in luxury service and interior design from working with clients bringing their visions to life. Mina believes that a good design is a delicate balance of beauty and functionality and is excited to be a part of the team that creates distinctive designs for each client. On the weekends Mina enjoys bringing her dog Booski, a Pomeranian, to the local creek to run around and play in the water. She also loves gathering in her kitchen for conversation and drinks and sharing good Thai food with friends and family.
ERICA SHIN
Assistant Designer
Erica is a proud Korean American who calls Texas her home. Although she was born in Southern California and lived in the Bay Area as an adult, she spent the majority of her childhood in Plano, Texas and studied both Marketing and Advertising at the University of Texas at Austin. Erica's career started in tech as a client relations specialist. However, she's now ready to combine her education, professional experience, and passions in interior design under April Interiors. Creativity and appreciation for beautiful interiors have always been ingrained in Erica. Erica believes good design takes into consideration functionality, aesthetics, emotional response, and budget. Erica loves to spend her free time designing her own home in Austin, enjoying the outdoors with her husband and two dogs, and exploring the world, especially for the best food.
SUNSHINE ZIMMERMAN
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Sunshine is originally from the Dallas area, however she has made Austin her home since adulthood. She has a background in marketing and advertising and has a passion for design, print media, shop local, and philanthropy. In her free time, Sunshine enjoys binge-watching HGTV for design inspiration, and shopping at local boutiques for clothes and home goods when time allows. Sunshine is an amazing mom to her 3 active kids and keeps herself busy attending all their sporting events and extracurricular activities. Sunshine is thrilled to be part of the AI team!
PATTY PRATER
BOOKKEEPER
Patty has made the Austin/Round Rock area home for most of her life. She has enjoyed raising her family in the small-town community vibe that the Austin area provides. Patty's work background, for the most part, has been in accounting. She enjoys spending time with family and friends. In her free time, Patty loves dancing, traveling, playing bridge and painting.
